Sustainability Leadership for Innovation and Organizational Change

Tuesday, May 2, 3:15 pm ET

What would it mean to position sustainability as a driver of institutional engagement, agility, and change-capability at your school? Leith Sharp, founding director of the Harvard Green Campus Initiative in 2000, and now director of Executive Education for Sustainability Leadership at Harvard’s School of Public Health, will introduce participants to her framework for enacting high-impact sustainability leadership in schools, and illustrate these concepts with case stories. Participants will come away from this online professional development event with new ideas for positioning sustainability as a driver for increasing organizational agility and relevance.

Supporting Transgender and Gender Non-Conforming Students: The Basics on How to Begin

Tuesday, May 10, 2:00 pm ET

Register for this Webinar

Our final webinar in our series on transgender students focuses on the practical steps and nuts and bolts decisions schools must make in order to set a plan in motion.

Increasingly, schools have had transgender and gender non-conforming students come out and transition at school (or arrive at school already transitioned and out). It can be tempting to address these students on a case-by-case basis. But it is much more powerful and effective for a school to develop policy, guidelines, and best practices around transgender and gender non-conforming students in order to be consistent, fair, and to create meaningful change in culture for all students. This interactive presentation will guide educators through the basics of what to expect and how to create change.
